My qualifications for making this list is solely because of my Thai husband and his in-laws who’ve shown me around the best places that Thai locals go to whenever they are craving Thai food. This’ll included a famous pork satay restaurant that’s been around for over 100 years and has been awarded the Michelin Star equivalent green bowl signage, Shell Shuan Shim to a Boat noodle restaurant that’s been around since the first conception of the Boat noodle near Victory Monument in the Boat Noodle Alley. As well as a popular street food dessert that has become a signature niche for a famous street vendor, Puy Roti Lady a Youtuber who has garnered international fame of over 600K subscribers and of course makes a really good Thai roti as well. All the Thai food that I’ll be discussing in this list are Thai cuisines I have never heard of until landing in Bangkok.
