Elitism in Martial Arts - Why it has no place in the purpose of Kendo

I made this video in response to a comment left on another video featured on this channel.

I think it is paramount that we value and respect all those who seek out Kendo or other Budo no matter their background or reasons for trying out. It is not correct to judge a book by it's cover, particularly when the book has yet to be written.

If a beginner shows a willingness to learn , I will always be happy to help them on their way.

It is not my intention to call out the poster of the comment or bring them into any kind of disripute , but rather to respond to an opinion with an opinion of my own with respect. Everyone is of course entitled to their own opinions.
