Affluent Clontarf is a tranquil residential neighbourhood dotted with parks. It is famed for the 11th - century namesake battle, and the 1830s Clontarf Castle, now a hotel. A wooden bridge connects the mainland with Bull Island home of Dollymount beach and The Royal Dublin Golf Club. North Bull Island draws bird watchers to it's rugged wetlands.

Saint Anne's Park is a 240 acre public park situated between Raheny and Clontarf, suburbs on the northside of Dublin. It is owned and managed by Dublin City Council.
