This is the very last section of the newly released Act 3 area, Sceptre of God. Before you can defeat Dominus, you need to deal with his butt-buddies. I'm running this in Standard Merciless on my level 84 Sporker with pretty average gear. This attempt is my 2nd time beating Dominus, as the first time through, I didn't know what the heck was going on, so I died a bunch of times. I know it's not the most exciting thing to watch, but here's a few tips I've gathered if you're playing a caster like I am:

In the first phase of the fight, he's going to repeatedly cast his AoE nuke. So, when you hear him proclaim "The touch of God!" or something similar, run the hell away. Other than that, his totem and spray skills are pretty easy to sidestep.

Once you kill his first form, the second phase begins. In his ultimate form, there's basically two patterns you need to watch out for: (1) he casts a Blood Rain skill that hurts really bad. If you try to tank it as a caster, you'll most likely die without some sort of leech. Trick is, when you see his golden sphere go up, run inside the sphere with Dominus while he tries to melee you (doesn't hurt too bad). Then when his Blood Rain is done, he goes into his (2) rabid bunny mode. Kite him around as best as you can, as he will repeatedly try to melee you. If you allow him to land a hit on you, he'll inflict a special puncture skill that drains your health pretty damn fast. Rinse-and-repeat between these two modes a few times and he should be dead soon enough.

Chug LOTS and LOTS of potions.

And if you don't already use minions of some sort, just link a spell totem to summon skellies/zombies to give Dominus some distractions.
