For ten years, our annual Best of the Bay Awards has promoted artists, bars and other businesses. Now, we're asking for your support.

Along with many newspapers, our advertising income has plummeted. A vital news source is at stake, along with the livelihoods of our full-time staff, and dozens of freelance writers, designers and photographers.

Our community needs reliable news now more than ever. We've already faced layoffs and drastic budget cuts. Despite these setbacks, our online readership has doubled. The need for a free press has never been greater.
