Apple Cinnamon Loaf Recipe 🍎

Ingredients:

🍎2 cups finely diced apple (about 2 medium apples)
🍎2 cups white
🍎2 tsp baking powder
🍎¾ tsp salt
🍎½ tsp baking soda
🍎½ tsp cinnamon (for swirling, see note below)
🍎¾ cup sugar (unrefined if desired)
🍎1 cup milk of choice
🍎3½ tbsp oil (or applesauce for a low-fat option)
🍎2 tsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.

Mix the dry ingredients: In a large bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, and ½ tsp of cinnamon. (For a visual swirl, you can mix the cinnamon into 2 tbsp of milk separately.)

Combine the wet ingredients: In another bowl, add the diced apples, milk, oil (or applesauce), sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.

Combine wet and dry ingredients: Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined, forming a smooth batter.

Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.

Bake for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.

Cool: Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.

Storage: Leftovers can be sliced and frozen. If desired, you can frost it with your favorite icing or a simple glaze!
