TransLink Canada Line - Waterfront to Richmond-Brighouse (2021)

This is a ride on board the Canada Line, one of TransLink's rapid transit 'skytrain' routes. Although this line is operationally separate from the other two lines. The Canada Line opened in 2009 linking Downtown Vancouver with YVR Airport and Richmond in just 30 minutes. The line is operated with thirty-two LRV units built by Hyundai-Rotem with a maximum frequency of every three minutes (one train every six minutes to YVR Airport and one train every six minutes to Richmond).


Our train is the newest unit, numbered 32 (cars 132 and 232), built in 2019.


Previously the rapid transit between Richmond and Downtown Vancouver was provided by the 98 B-Line bus, running along Seymour and Howe Streets in Downtown Vancouver, and along Granville Street and over the Arthur Laing and Moray Bridges via Airport Station.
