Children with ADHD often struggle to follow a series of steps in directions. To better connect and communicate and ensure the instructions are recorded in working memory and then longer term memory, I recommend using my Rule of 3 - make contact via 3 activating a number of systems in which the information is recorded…physical, visual and auditory.
