Ragnar, a barbarian mercenary, is going to fight in a bloody war on the north, but on the way he finds a village whose inhabitants are going through a macabre situation. A wizard is kidnapping people and mixing them with animals and other beings, thus creating new species that are increasingly powerful and horrendous. Monsters of all kinds are surrounding the village and the desperate inhabitants pay the barbarian to bring their relatives back, at least those who are still human.
