Treble Boosters COMPARISON (ENG.SUBS)

Описание к видео Treble Boosters COMPARISON (ENG.SUBS)

In this video I compare all my Treble Booster.
I use the simplest rig: Red Special, Treble Booster, AC30.

Guitar is of course my Dansan replica and the AC30 is the Brian May Custom.

Treble Booster tested:
Greg Fryer Super
BSM BM-Q
Greg Fryer Touring
Zior TB-80
Pete Cornish TB-83

Impressions:

BSM BM-Q is quite acid and gainy.
Not bad, quite balanced.
It could seems "similar" to the Fryer Super on this vid but I can assure that in the flesh the harmonic content and the "quality" of the sound is quite different.

Fryer Touring is very clean and mellow.
Nice harmonic content.
Cleans are very defined and distort is moderated and solid.

Zior sounds very similar to the Fryer Touring but it bites a bit more.

Cornish is very hot...maybe too much.
Great on OOP settings but it lacks a bit of clarity.
It works better on trebly and "clean" models of AC30s.

Fryer Super is my favourite and my no.1 choice because has the best of every pedal.
It's quite hot but defined.
It's very crispy and with an high harmonic content.
Guitar seems to breath with this TB.

What's your favourite?
