When we listen to the land, there are many voices to be heard, those of the many more-than-humans with whom we share our place. In this session, we bring together plant, animal and landscape communicators, scientists and growers to consider what we mean by 'listening to the land'. How can we hear these voices? Why would we want to? And what would be the implications if we could? Monica Gagliano is a pioneering plant scientist, Jon Young, a world-leading animal communicator and 'nature connector', Patrick MacManaway, a third-generation intuitive and 'land-whisperer' and Pamela Shor, an urban food grower, explore using indigenous and intergenerational ways of connecting between our human and more-than-human powers.
