The herd spend time in the sand mounds while out in the reserve together 🍃 Setombe keeps a keen eye on the younger elephants, like Mambo especially as he starts to spar playfully with Limpopo. Pisa enjoys the cool touch of the earth as she lies down on the ground. Khanyisa heads off in her own direction and she is quickly followed by her entourage: Timisa, Mambo, Lundi and Kumbura. It’s a peaceful moment in the herd’s wilderness and carer, Owen is right beside them to capture it for us.
