How to Fix Quest 3 Controller Drift (Meta Quest 3- Detailed Instructions)

This is a step by step procedure on eliminating Meta Quest 3 Controller Drift by cleaning the controller joystick. These are simple to follow instructions that will help you eliminate the aggravation that comes with a drifting Quest 3 controller.

Meta has made it even more difficult to get access to the transducer on the Quest 3, but I'll show you how to get the thumbstick cap off, modify it (so it's easy to clean in the future) and clean your transducer/joystick.

Doesn't matter which game's your go to- Population: One, Gorilla Tag, Onward, Nock, A Township Tale, Demeo, Blade & Sorcery Nomad, etc... at some point almost everyone will experience drifting problems. This is a reliable method to fix most.

Any contact cleaner that you choose, should at a minimum:
-Leave no residue
-Be plastic safe (If the label doesn't state it, don't assume its safe.)
