(1) REMOVING THE OEM RADIATOR FAN SHROUD

1. Using a jack, securely support the vehicle on jack stands or use a vehicle lift. Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery. (Located in the trunk).
2. Using your Phillips screwdriver, remove the coolant drain plug located in the center of the vehicle, below the radiator. Drain all cool;ant from the vehicle, using a drain pan to catch all used coolant. Removing the radiator cap will aid the draining process.
3. Disconnect and remove the upper radiator hose by unscrewing the two hose clamps securing it.
4. Unbolt and remove the splash shield under the vehicle to access the lower radiator hose. Using your pliers, loosen the two spring clamps securing the hose and remove the hose from the vehicle.
5. Using your ratchet, remove the two 10mm bolts securing the air conditioning line to the vehicle.
6. Remove coolant reservoir overflow line and set off to the side.
7. Remove the two 12mm upper radiator head bolts located on either side of the radiator.
8. Unplug both fan shroud wiring harnesses located on either side of the radiator next to the head bolts that you just removed.
9. You will now be able to lift the OEM radiator and fan assembly our of the engine bay.

(2) PREPPING THE MISHIMOTO RADIATOR & OEM FAN SHROUD FOR INSTALLATION

1. Remove the two lower OEM radiator support pegs using your flathead screwdriver to slide off the C-clips securing them. You will be reusing both pegs on the Mishimoto radiator.
2. Remove and transfer the upper OEM radiator mounts onto the Mishimoto radiator.
3. Place and secure the OEM fan shroud to the radiator using OEM shroud hardware.

(3) INSTALLATION OF MISHIMOTO RADIATOR

1. Place radiator into the vehicle, making sure to secure it on the radiator mounting peg holsters.
2. Reinstall upper radiator head bolts to secure Mishimoto radiator and OEM fan shroud into the vehicle and reattach the coolant reservoir line.
3. Reattach the lower radiator hose and air conditioning lines, and replace the splash shield under the vehicle.
4. Replace the upper radiator hose and securely tighten the hose clamps.
5. Reconnect the OEM fan shroud connections and tuck wires away from any moving parts in the engine bay.

(4) COOLANT REFILLING & INSTALL COMPLETION

1. It is now time to refill the vehicle with coolant. Screw the coolant drain plug back in if you have not done so already. Insert the funnel into the filler neck of the radiator and begin to pour 50/50 mix of coolant and distilled water. While filling, it is a good idea to pump the upper radiator hose to remove any last bit of air in the system.
2. Reconnect the negative terminal on the battery and stat the vehicle, making sure the vehicle is in neutral or park.
3. While the vehicle is running, turn the heat on high. Monitor the temperature gauge to make sure the vehicle does not overheat.
4. Using a jack, raise the vehicle, remove the jack stands, and lower the vehicle, or lower the vehicle on the lift you were using.
