Sean Peterson, Co-Founder, AI Fund
Sean has 15+ years of venture investing experience, including most recently eight years partner-level at International Finance Corporation responsible for direct venture investments with an emerging market focus on EdTech, e-logistics, consumer internet, health tech, and climate tech. Sean also led limited partner investments in select venture funds. At IFC, Sean’s portfolio included deals in China, India, Africa, Latin America, and as well as USA based companies with a global mandate. Earlier in his career, Sean was Director at Good Energies Ventures, where he led numerous investments in the cleantech sector. Before direct venture investing, Sean launched two fintech start-ups, both led to exits, including one trade sale and one IPO. Sean began his career at Merrill Lynch. Sean has an MBA from Wharton, where he was a Joseph Wharton Fellow and a B.S. degree in Chemical/Environmental Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
