30 years ago, one of the great films of all time were released. It's called Batman Forever. Unlike the shit Batman films that came before and after, this one has heart and soul. In honour of this auspicious occasion, I have worked with director Niall Trask on this music video cover of Seal's Kiss From a Rose, which appeared on the Batman Forever soundtrack. The video imagines a Batman universe in which there is less physical movement and more drinking of beer and consuming of fish and chips and pints of beer at pub. We filmed the video on the banks of the Thames in London where I saw several nitrous oxide tanks washed ashore. Filming videos is rather laborious and I wanted very much to imbibe nitrous whilst shooting, but the tanks were empty. Once we finished shooting, I did get ahold of some nitrous and beer and got properly pissed and passed out.
