How to Set Up An Xbox Alliance Server in The Sea Of Thieves
Hey everybody Illogical JJ here.
Today I will be explaining how to start an XBOX server alliance for The Sea of Thieves.
Server alliances are required for certain commendations and
A lot of people use Server Alliances to gain RP and money at an incredibly faster pace.
Whatever the reason A server Alliance can offer you a feeling of protection as you can relax and play the game,
without straining your neck for sneaky pirates.
Today I will be showing you a few methods that people use to create server alliances.

The Old School method would be to hang out on the ferry of the damned waiting for slain pirates.
Interacting with these pirates you can sometimes talk everyone into alliancing together and even sharing locations.
This method like many others can attract sneaky pirates who will eventually stab you in the back.
Though one of the easiest methods, its risk factor has led innovative pirates to figure out new ways.

Today the most common method is to find a bunch of like minded pirates who are also interested in the idea of starting
an alliance server. Typically for similar purposes.
You can use Facebook Groups, Discord Groups, or the Xbox's handy "Looking For" Groups where players can create a post
seeking exactly the type of pirate they are interested in. You are also welcome to post your gamertag in the comments and
I or others may one day be sending you an invite.
Ideally you want 8-20 pirates to try and start an alliance server.

If you create a post and find 8-20 pirates than you are ready to start the server.
First of all you will want all pirates to switch their adventure settings to "Closed Crew" and check "yes" next to the
"Prefer players with xbox and controllers only" you will also want all of the players to chose galleon as the ship type.

The reason why this is important is because PC has far too many servers to have any luck with this strategy.
Xbox on the other hand usually only takes a few tries as they have much fewer sessions.

Once everyone has the same settings marked you will have somone in the party do a countdown. At the end of the count
down all players need to push a to set sail.

The idea is to create a new server and get a few of your party members on that server.
Most crews will take a few blunder bombs from the ship and kill themselves hoping to meet their friends on the ferry
of the damned. However you can bypass this simply by using your reapers mark flags to see each other.

Once you can verify that you have 2 or 3 galleons on the same server, have those people invite users from the party.

If you have any left over users they can continue server hopping to get on your server. Or they can remain in que for
when other alliance members are turning their games off.

Thats it for Today's Sea Of Thieves video.
