Alley Marbles Identifications and Nicknames w/ Ron Shepherd: Part 1

In this video we begin identifying common Alley swirl marbles and identify some of the informal Alley Agate marbles nicknames with Ron Shepherd.
We look at part 1 of the nicknames in this upload, and will follow up with the others in the next video. Alley Agate (1929-1949) is arguably the most popular of the West Virginia Swirl marble companies with collectors, but did not market any of their glass marble models. The examples shown here adopted nicknames from collectors and enthusiasts over the years. We provide Alley Agate identifications tips here , show their oxhair and oxblood examples, and look at comparisons to some of the other vintage marble company models.
