Описание к видео Here’s how I do it ⬇️

STEP 1: I start the first day of their birth, whether we were in the hospital (twice), freebirthed (3x), or homebirthed. This is the easiest time to start because

(a) they don’t go potty very often the first few days

(b) they are VERY primal and vocal about not wanting to go in their diapers at this age and

(c) we’re getting to know each other, hangin out in bed together, anyway. (You can start any time between 0-18 months, though!)

STEP 2: I potty my babies when they wake up. We all have a hormone that keeps us dry and clean while sleeping - I take advantage of God’s design!

STEP 3: I also potty them at the first fuss after feeding. This is a “signal” 100% of the time, and is usually 5-10 minutes after they nurse.

STEP 4: I give my babies a chance to go potty (a “pottytunity” 😂) before and after I put them into a carrier, carseat, bath, swing, bed…this helps them be LESS fussy and MORE content for LONGER.

STEP 5: I respond to their needs and roll with the changes!

By trying to correctly respond to roughly 1/3 of baby’s cries that ACTUALLY mean they need to go potty and want the diaper off, I build deep trust and partnership with my babies, making everything easier down the road! (Less toddler tantrums!)

This makes me a stronger mom 💪 - more in tune, more able to connect with and guide them as they develop their will-power.

STEP 6: Every time I see the poop face, I gently say “wait” and take them to the potty to go (or finish!). This takes changing poopy diapers OFF my plate!💩

STEP 7: I also take “toilet training a toddler” off my plate by teaching some things along the way so my babies can be independent with most of the process by 12-18 months old.

STEP 8: I take them out of diapers when they master walking…this is the time when our grandparents did it!! They’re completely CAPABLE and it’s amazing what a GIFT we give them when we honor and trust our babies like this.
