Foolproof arrangements are made to complete the immersion peacefully. All the safety measures have been taken for smooth procession: CP Mahesh Bhagwat IPS*
On Friday, Rachakonda CP Shri Mahesh Bhagwat IPS has monitored the Lord Ganesh idols immersion arrangements at Saroornagar lake, Safilguda lake and other immersion spots as the immersion has been started across the Rachakonda limits. CP has monitored the procession routes, baby ponds, preformed ponds, CCTV cameras and other arrangements made for the convenience of devotees.
Addressing the media, CP stated that foolproof arrangements have been made by the Rachakonda police to support the devotees and mentioned that more than 6000 police are deployed for the immersion duties across the Rachakonda limits. CP added that Civil, Traffic, AR, TSSP, IT cell, She teams and other police forces are working round the clock to complete the immersion peacefully and mentioned that CCTVs have been arranged at the immersion spots and in the procession routes for continuous monitoring.
CP said that all the required safety measures have been taken to give no space for occuring any communal issues as the immersion processions happen on Friday. CP also stated that Rachakonda Police conducting special programs to bring awareness in the public on cyber crimes at immersion spots and directed the staff to adhere to the duties till the completion of the immersion and sought the cooperation of devotees to complete the immersion peacefully.
