Definition: - Predation: a relationship in which one organism kills and eats another organism. - Parasitism: the relationship between a parasite and its host. - Mutualism: a partnership between species in which both benefit. - Commensalism: a relationship in which one species benefits and the other is neither harmed nor helped. - Competition: a relationship in which organisms fight over the same limited resources. - Parasite: an organism that lives off of another organism without immediately killing it. - Host: an organism that has its nutrients being taken from. - Predator: an organism that kills and eats another organism. - Prey: an organism that is killed by and eaten by another organism.
