P. T. Barnum is perhaps the most well known showman in history, subject of a massively successful 2017 movie "The Greatest Showman" featuring Hugh Jackman. But uncovering Barnum's origins we discover a past full of lies, tricks and deceptions. P. T. Barnum rose to fame by silencing people more trustworthy than him, and by doing so he left us with a very important life lesson: who can we trust in today's lie-filled world?
