Nothing better than a warm cup of decadent hot chocolate on a cold day.

Recipe (serves 2-3):
1 cup milk
1-3 tablespoons sugar, to taste
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 pinch of salt
100 g dark chocolate, chopped (try mint dark chocolate if you love the mint-chocolate combo)
1/2 cup cold milk
2 teaspoons cornstarch
Whipped cream for topping
In a small saucepan on low heat, whisk together the cup of milk, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt until thoroughly combined. Add the chopped chocolate and, separately, whisk together the half cup of cold milk and cornstarch (milk must be cold here to avoid clumping). Add this cornstarch slurry and mix your hot chocolate on low-medium heat for 3-5 minutes or until thickened and coats the back of a spoon. Pour into your mugs of choice, and top with whipped cream and more chocolate. Serve immediately and enjoy!
