The setup on 0:26 is a powerful tool you gain with Sub Zero. The Freeze allows you to set up the trap, which is low, and your f3 2 is a double overhead, making it impossible to block directly after the stun! Also, armour won't save your opponent from that string, so his only option is to delay wake-up!

However, the opponent can delay waking up, block high at the end of Rain's double overhead, and avoid the reset. You may be thinking, "Hmm, well, that sucks", and I'm here to say NOPE!

After the setup, you get further mixups to dominate your opponent and spread fear in his heart. Here are your options:

Option 1: Delay setup!
-: In that way, your opponent will think you will commit to the overhead, but you won't! You will wait for him to get sucked into the water trap, only to expand your combo and set up another trap after you freeze him once more!


Option 2: Grab after setup!

You can attempt to grab the opponent if you want to take the risk of getting armoured. With the grab, you will activate the trap, expand your combo into another freeze, and set up!

Option 3: Use 2 1 1 2 string!

This option is viable if you need more clarification about your opponent's intention. If he decides to use armour, you will interrupt it and continue your combo; if not, you still have the advantage. You can either set up a portal or use a sub-zero br1 move to push him further away from you if you're in the centre and keep yourself safe from armouring through that string.

Option 4: Do nothing!

Sometimes, it's best to do nothing at all. After the stun, if you delay the setup, you can play it safe by simply blocking, allowing your opponent to commit to an armour attack and leave himself vulnerable for further combos and juicy damage!
