The DRAMA Programme was a multi-partner project funded through the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund to promote Additive Manufacturing (AM) in the UK Aerospace industry which finished in January 2021. Working closely with the programme leader, MTC and its National Centre for Additive Manufacturing, the MAA role within DRAMA was to encourage engagement of the aerospace supply chain in metal AM through piloting intensive support activities including prototyping AM parts, piloting training at the MTC’s Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre and a series of regular information and networking events.

As a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic, many of the AM events originally planned by the MAA were replaced by weekly ‘DRAMA Additive Hour’ web seminars. This video records one of the many excellent guest presentations featured during Additive Hour.

The MAA is grateful to the speakers from industry and academia who generously contributed to the success of Additive Hour, and gave their permission to make these videos available more widely.
