S2:E13 - Huge Trout, But Not What We Thought!

Well, Alfred has been on a role recently. 1st a 26” brown which is the latest video and now this beauty rainbow. What a total surprise that was. And if you go to last year’s episode 11, you’ll see the same fish I’m sure, the Olympic swimmer and jumper. Alfred handled it differently and that’s why we have a video. Well done for sure.

I missed the fish 5 minutes earlier. There were some violent tugs on the line so I knew it was going to be a big fish as only big fish live in the middle of that hole! I thought it was a brown as I saw the large white stomach as it rolled. Alfred showed up and decided to throw in a smaller sized panther Martin and glad he did as this huge fish came out of the deep water to attack the lure. The tip I mentioned on the video resulted in the catch as we went to where the fish was!

We ended the day a way upstream where some biggies have been sighted but not caught, YET….mañana!
