iXS Trigger Race Knee Pad: Reviewed | Is it Worth Upgrading?

When I picked up a set of the Flow EVO+ kneepads a few years ago, I quickly feel in love with their comfort and breathability. They were still going strong two years later when my dog Norah got ahold of one of them and ripped it to shreds.
So, in June 2020, as I went to pick up a new set of Evo+ pads, I saw the Trigger knee pad. I had previously thought about getting something better suited to faster, scarier trails that protected more of my leg, and the Trigger looked like a nice balance of a pedal friendly design and increased protection.
Today, IXS has what they are calling the Trigger Race knee pad, which features a refined design as compared to the regular Trigger, so I wanted to bring you all along and check out what they brought in from the old pads and what they added to the new.
