A weekend in Llandudno filled with animals, adventure, food, and stunning coastal views! From Welsh Mountain Zoo to Great Orme Toboggan and ice cream by the sea, join our North Wales family travel adventure.

This weekend we packed so much into our trip to Llandudno, North Wales — from dramatic RNLI rescues to rare mountain goats, high-speed fun on the Great Orme, and even Craig getting meal envy when Linda’s dish arrived at dinner.

We began at the Welsh Mountain Zoo, enjoying the animals and an impressive hawk display. We watched the RNLI recreate dramatic sea rescues with a helicopter and lifeboats. Dinner with family at LC Drink & Dine. On the pier, we met the owner of SOAK, a shop selling handmade soaps and bath treats,

We took a walk through Happy Valley Botanical Gardens where we spotted the rare wild mountain goats. before Craig took on the Great Orme Toboggan and we finished with a well-earned ice cream.

3️⃣ RNLI Sea Rescue Demonstration – We watched the Royal National Lifeboat Institution recreate two dramatic sea rescues, complete with a rescue helicopter hovering just overhead!
