What's the purpose of our Optimus Mod Kits?

Our Optimus Mod Kits are the latest PCB's or break out boards with custom cables that allows you to add the Brook series of PCB's to specific arcade sticks easily. What this means is you'll be able to do what is normally a complicated mod that would take you 4-6 hours to do, in about an hour or less.

Everything we provide is plug and play, with no soldering or cutting wires. You just have to be able to use a screw driver and follow instructions to accomplish this modification.

In addition of modding easily, this will also allow you to use both the Brook Universal Fighting Board and the Retro Board, simultaneously.

Note: With the Retro Board, you will need to install the Neutrik Ethercon Connector and purchase the associated Retro Cables. We recommend picking up the RJ45 to PC cable even if you don't use it for PS3 as this is what you will need to update the board should there be any future firmware updates

Here is a breakdown video of how to install the Optimus Mod Kit. Note these are system specific, which means, there's one version made for the PS5 and one version for the Xbox.

The video shows you how to install the most common setup which would be the single Brook Universal Fighting Board. All of our Optimus kits allows you to use the industry standard Brook UFB with pre-soldered connectors, so all you need is to buy our kit and you're good to go if you have one of these lying around.

The additional feature of our Optimus Kit is you're able to also add the Brook Retro Board in addition to the UFB so you'll be able to play on the modern and retro systems from one controller. For this mod, you'll need the Neutrik Ethercon connector installed on your case as well as the short ethernet cable (1 foot) and any necessary Retro Cables (at least the RJ45 to USB) that suits your setup.
