Very sturdy and secure
We trapped a feral mom cat and her babies on our property and brought them inside so we can get them all fixed and vaccinated. Momma Kitty was extremely unhappy about the situation. She jumped from shelf to shelf looking for a way out, she was pretty rough on it, but it held up great. We did use zip ties on a few areas that had gaps that little kitten paws could get trapped in but I didn't find any sharp edges or other issues. The shelves are a little tough to snap on but once they're on they hold firm. The little pillow is cute but even with the velcro straps on the corners, it didn't last a day with Momma Kitty. I put blankets on the shelves, pulled the corners through the bars and clamped them on the outside. They haven't budged and the kittens love to sleep on them in a pile. We bought another 8 panel pet kennel and zip-tied the panels to this one to make a larger area for the kittens when they got bigger. All in all it has worked out perfectly
