Seven Humans Three Dogs and four bad ass Mitsubishi Fuso Based campers go where Winnebego's fear to tread. The road up Johnson Canyon to access the Hungry Bill Ranch trailhead was about as rough as they come. We spent several hours traversing just a few miles. At the top we found a lovely cool camp spot in the hills. The next day we hiked up to the homestead of Hungry Bill. There are natural springs here and he had an orchard. He used to hike the fresh produce over the mountain to sell to hungry miners. Pretty cool place! The road was super rough. The Earth Crusiers are big enough that they make the rock crawling look minor. Those 37" tires amble over just about anything! So much fun!
