Brother of Accused Young Dolph Killer Testifies in Rapper’s Murder Trial

The brother of accused killer Justin Johnson, Jermarcus Johnson, took the stand on Tuesday afternoon and testified about what he knew regarding the murder of rapper Young Dolph. Johnson had previously pleaded guilty to three counts of accessory and is awaiting sentencing for these crimes, including his involvement in the murder of Young Dolph.

Beloved rapper Young Dolph, real name was Adolph Thornton Jr., was shot and killed in Memphis, Tennessee back in November 2021. Several suspects have been charged in connection with his death. One of them, Justin Johnson, aka Straight Drop, faces trial for the murder of the rapper. If convicted, Johnson could face life in prison without the possibility of parole.
