Robbie Singh, CFO, Adani Group Talks About Adani Enterprises’ ₹800 Cr NCD Issue

Adani Enterprises will raise up to ₹800 cr through a public issue of rated, secured non-convertible debentures. Jugshinder Singh, CFO, Adani Group discusses the company’s maiden retail NCD issue at a press conference in Ahmedabad. The company said it will pay 9.25% interest for two-year debentures, payable annually. It will also offer a 9.25% yield on the two-year cumulative debentures. It will pay 9.32% interest, payable quarterly, for three-year debentures, and 9.65% interest payable annually, for the same tenure debentures. The issue size is ₹400 crore with a greenshoe option of ₹400 crore. The debentures will have a face value of ₹1,000, with a minimum application size of ₹10,000 and in multiples of ₹1,000 rupees thereafter. The issue will open for subscription on Sep 4 and will close on Sep 17. The debenture issue is the first since short seller Hindenburg Research raised several allegations against Adani group last year.
