Kalei Gamiao - The Unknown - Tutorial - Part 1 Intro

I'm working through the process of learning the song and will post more videos as I work out the sections. In this video I present the intro to the song.

NOTE: In the section where I talk about accenting I say to accent the first string. What I meant to say was to accent the first note which is played on the 3rd C string.

Though it isn't part of the intro, Kalei has a very unique approach to how he strums certain parts of his songs. Ukulele Underground member ItsAMeCasey has put together a video tutorial demonstrating this technique. You may want to take a look at it and get a head start on this technique so you will be ready when I get the other parts of the tutorial posted.
