Growing up in a convent, Tony led a very difficult life – having to pray for food and doing manual chores at a young and tender age of five. His background and his mother’s death helped Tony to recognise the needs of the poor and founded Willing Hearts.

Even when he did not know how Willing Hearts will continue to function as there was no income or supporters, Tony trusted in the Lord.

“The Lord will provide you, He will guide you, if you are really interested in doing work for Him. If you help the people, He will never let you down. You can be a doctor, you can be a businessman, or any other businesses – that company belongs to God.”

Tony is one of the speakers at the Christ@Work Conference, organised by The Catholic Business Network (CBN) on Monday, 28 October 2019 (8.30 am to 6.00 pm)

Inspiring stories. From stories about being at the lowest point in life, to losing a child or a spouse to encounters with the God who made us and knows us. These are just a sampling of stories ‘new parables’ about how people have walked their journeys in life either with the Lord or finding him later as a result of the challenges they faced. Families and individuals have found the sometimes subtle but recognisable workings of the Lord in their circumstances.
