Laser Point 2 Fix: Oiling the Carriage (GCC Expert II 24 too)

Описание к видео Laser Point 2 Fix: Oiling the Carriage (GCC Expert II 24 too)

Here I show you a very simple way to get the carriage arm moving up and down much smoother than before if you had issues with the arm being stuck in the down or up position.

The issue here everyone is that the magnetic top part of the carriage has current and interacts with the lower part which is the magnet. During this up and down motion it is possible that the top can become misaligned and therefore causing the up and down motion during cutting to be random, out of place or just plain stuck.

Generally for the laser Point 2 you can start your cuts out at 120-150 grams of pressure. The more blade you stick out of the blade holder the less pressure you may need.

A comment from 'Keith Nelson' below was" It worked on a GCC Expert II-24 (they're very similar)". So if you have a GCC Expert II 24" you can try this too.

Please always do test cuts first before starting your big project.
