Last Friday the weather report made it look like a storm was going to move in in the afternoon so I decided to duck out of work early to get to the closest pond and try to get some prefrontal Bass.

Well it turned out the storm held of longer than expected leaving me fishing in the heat of the day under blue bird skies.

Just when I though the day would be a complete wash the storm finally started to make its way in and the fish started to bite. I landed one on a Strike king crank-bait and then another on a shaky head worm.

After those two fish clouds blue over and the bite died down. So, I tried to see if I could repeat the luck I had in one of my older videos and headed down to the nearby Pinhook Creek in search of one more bite. Sadly no luck there and then the real storm moved its way in.
Camera and gear in hand I beat feet back to the truck to try and get my DSLR covered before the rain started.

As for the rest you’ll just have to watch.
