The Spotnicks are a Swedish instrumental group, founded in 1958 in Gothenburg, who with their twang-guitar sound were especially successful in the 1960s at the same time as groups like the Shadows and the venture started. The Spotnicks rely primarily on the characteristic guitar playing of their lead guitarist Bo Winberg. They released Western Guitar in 1963.

Les Spotnicks sont un groupe instrumental suédois fondé en 1958 à Göteborg. Leur sonorité de guitare twang a connu un succès fulgurant dans les années 1960, parallèlement à des groupes comme The Shadows, et c'est ainsi que leur aventure a débuté. Les Spotnicks s'appuient principalement sur le jeu de guitare caractéristique de leur guitariste principal, Bo Winberg. Ils ont sorti Western Guitar en 1963.
