He is called the " King of Konnakol ". His voice is best suited for the modulation of reciting the percussive syllables. Time magazine once compared him with American vocalist Bobby McFerrin. Having performed with many carnatic legends and Jazz greats from young age, taught hundreds of students and left a great legacy to carry on.
