YO YOS

370g butter
120g icing sugar
370g plain flour
120g custard powder

Icing

150g butter
420g icing sugar
2 teaspoons lemon juice

Biscuits
Cream butter and icing sugar, add sifted dry ingredients and mix well.
Roll into balls and place on greased tray and press down with a fork.
Bake in moderate oven about 15 minutes.

Icing
Place all ingredients into mixing bowl. Mix until a smooth consistency.

Join two together with icing.

JAM DROPS
8 ozs (250g) butter
11/2 cups sugar
4 eggs
4 cups Plain Flour
4 teaspoons baking powder

Cream butter & sugar, add eggs, then sifted dry ingredients,
Mix well. Roll into balls and place on greased tray, press hollow in centres with your thumb and fill with jam.

Bake in moderate oven about 15 mins.
