Meyammai or Mey, as she prefers to be called is who we like to call a tapestry whisperer. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources, but her first love has always been design. She has always been able to spot elegance in ensembles, and versatility in sustainability. She is now the founder of Mana, a bespoke label that focuses on sustainable and recyclable fashion hemmed with personality and uniqueness.

Armed with an arsenal of tools and resourceful knowledge, she forayed into the world of design to weave stories and create repertoires of one’s identity. She believes in remaking, rebuilding, repurposing, and sewing exemplary artistry into every piece of fabric that she interacts with. Her philosophy emphasizes that fashion is a representation of the self—who we are, what we represent, and what we think. With a room full of scrap fabric at Mana, Mey is always thinking of new ways to reuse old fabric and recreate fashion that is sustainable, recyclable, and more importantly, fun! She’s always high on filter coffee and indulges in long conversations on evolving fashion fluidity. She loves anything artistic and strives to seek perfection in everything she does, especially in creating new designs with brilliance and tenderness.
