It combines some of the usual Arbuckle and Keaton Slapstick Comedy with a satirical look at some of the conventions of the Western genre of its time, and it has a decent variety of scenes and settings.
This story idea for the story came from Natalie Talmadge, who was later to become Keaton's first wife.
One of the few films in which Buster Keaton smiles.
