ABOUT NAKSHATRAS:

'Vedic' astrology has a complex system of stars aka 'nakshatras' or 'lunar mansions' working behind the scenes of the 'rashis' that are further related to 'deities' and 'mantras' found in the 'Vedas'.

In this series, I will briefly discuss the energy of each 'nakshatra' every day, following the Moon through his journey across the sky around the Earth.

In each video I will talk briefly about the 'nakshatra', its energy, its significance and also how planetary placements here influence your life and what they guide is towards.

This video is about the nakshatra of 'Bharani' which is the 2nd 'nakshatra' out of a total of 27 and what its energy is like.

ABOUT BHARANI NAKSHATRA:

Ruled by the twin influences of Venus and Lord 'Yama', 'Bharani' is a lunar abode that encapsulates within in opposing patterns of death-rebirth, indulgence-austerity, fear-aggression and materialism-moksha.

This polarity can also be considered as 'Bharani' energy representing a close loop of all material expressions and stimuli that keep the soul bound to outcomes.

'Bharani' is an energy which at its core at a spiritual level seeks to break away from all of that.

The way that 'breaking-free' however is expressed, may appear counter intuitive.

What do I mean?

Well 'Bharani' individuals can often be quite materialistic and in fact dealing in and succeeding in some of the most taboo professions of the material world such as tobacco, alcohol, sexual pleasure and wellness, luxury indulgences (such as exquisite cuisine, supplements, ingredients etc.), cosmetic surgeries, procedures and implants, fillers etc.

However, what is interesting to note about 'Bharani' individual is that quite often it is their accurate understanding of the fragile and impermanent nature of life that enables them to undertake such projects and master them.

'Bharani' is a 'nakshatra' that will give you the things you want but always with a periodic reminder that "This too shall pass".
