Verizon isn’t keen on customers doing this themselves and they can charge you a couple hundred if you cause damage to their fiber or the ONT. you’ve been warned, I am not liable.

ALL YOU NEED is Fiber Coupler and Fiber Optic cable (see links below):

Fiber optic: PLEASE make sure you get more than the size you need and DO NOT cut to shrink, fiber is NOT like ethernet cable where you can reterminate.

This video is everything covering what you should do if you want to relocate the Verizon or Frontier FiOS ONT (Optical Network Terminal) aka their fiber modem that they give free of charge

I show you the proper way of unplugging the fiber but DO NOT grab by the stem as showed, grab by the green firm plastic housing.

You’ll want to search on Amazon or Google for APC SFP fiber. I got from fs.com This isn’t like Ethernet that you can crimp on the fly, you need to get the right size. And you get a coupler so you can extend the connection, female to female connector. Any extra, you’ll just cable tie as shown. If you’re short, just use the couplers to add more fiber

Don’t do sharp bends because this is thin strand of glass in this cable. No metal in this cable, light passes thru the glass strand inside. Much better quality of service as it won’t interfere with water or other power cables or corrode like traditional copper cables aka Comcast
