Moving Holiday was a Czech shoegazer band that was formed in the fall of 1992 by Tomáš Svašek (guitar, vocals), Ondřej Faber (drums), and Honza Dědek (bass). Later, Vojtěch Probošt (bass, guitar) joined the band, and Dědek briefly played the second guitar before leaving. Svašek cited Revolver, Chapterhouse, Ride, Boo Radleys, and Moose's album '...xyz' as their main influences.

In February 1993, the band had their first gig, sharing the stage with Tom Is My Sugar. After their second show in April, they recorded a cassette single titled 'Lilian/Feel And Find'. They performed more gigs, including shows with Nova Mob and Czech bands Ecstasy Of Saint Theresa and Sebastians. They also made a TV appearance during this time. Cyril Tůma joined as the new bassist, and Probošt took on the second guitar duties during live performances.

In September, the band recorded a demo tape with the songs 'Foam' and 'Tears Of Your Hate'. They attempted to send promotional materials to MTV and contacted labels in the UK. Greg Ackell of Drop Nineteens showed interest in collaborating on their debut release, and the band was also contacted by BMG. In October, they had a supporting slot for Slowdive, which received positive feedback in music reviews. By the end of the year, the band achieved the third position in a journalist's survey focusing on the indie scene. However, the band disbanded before releasing their first album.
