Speaking to Maya Delilah after her “Actress” performance at our Lagoon shoot, it’s clear that the guitar riffs that made the singer-songwriter famous on TikTok and Instagram only scratched the surface of her talent and story. Much of our conversation with Maya Delilah revolved around creativity – not just in her music, but the joy Maya finds in seeking out other facets to explore her creativity. From the unconventional way she chose to learn guitar after realising she was dyslexic to how she collaborates throughout her creation process, there’s much to get into.
