Sony Decides E3 Is Not Invited Onto The PS5 Hype Train in 2020...Poor E3

The news just broke that Sony will not be attending E3 2020. This mark the second year in a row that Sony has decided not to show up to the event that is clearly on a downhill trend. It's especially telling considering this is the year Sony plans to reveal and release their next-gen console the PS5. I think it's safe to say two things now, the first that Sony simply doesn't need E3 to generate hype or success with PlayStation anymore and two, E3 is on it's way out and Sony plans to do other much more relevant events including their own. The PlayStation 5 is going to completely overshadow E3 this year and that is just a fact. I have always enjoyed E3 but there is no denying, it's not what it once was sadly. Now we will wait to hear when Sony plans to do the PS5 reveal event.
