This week, when we learn a language, we learn how to listen, speak, read and write it. Let's learn how to say these 4 skills in Vietnamese!
1. đọc (read)
Tôi tập đọc tiếng Việt mỗi ngày.
I practice reading Vietnamese everyday.
2. nghe (listen)
Tôi cố gắng nghe người Việt nói, nhưng tôi không hiểu được.
I try to listen to Vietnamese people talking, but I can't understand them.
3. nói (speak)
Tôi có thể nói một ít tiếng Việt.
I can speak a little Vietnamese.
4. viết (write)
Tôi nghĩ là học viết tiếng Việt rất dễ.
I think it is easy to learn how to write Vietnamese.

Tôi học tiếng Việt ba tháng rồi. Tôi nghĩ là, nghe tiếng Việt là khó nhất. Người Việt nói nhanh quá. Đọc và viết tiếng Việt dễ hơn một chút. Tôi thích nói tiếng Việt với người Việt, mặc dù thỉnh thoảng họ không hiểu tôi nói gì.
I have studied Vietnamese for three months. I think that, listening to Vietnamese is the most difficult aspect. Vietnamese people speak too fast. Reading and writing are a little easier. I like to speak Vietnamese with Vietnamese people, although sometimes they don't understand what I say.
