I decided to compile a list of helpful tips and tricks that I've found to be the be all- end all of my extensions, and most of my clients alike! I've had so many newbies in the past little while, and over all I really wanted to create something where clients could reference and come back to for help when needed. Enjoy!

1) NEVER SLEEP WITH WET HAIR. You will wake up with a giant, frizzy mess, I promise! 

2) ALWAYS SLEEP ON SATIN. Whether it's a satin cap, or a pillow case- it is necessary!

3) ALWAYS BRUSH OUT BEFORE WASHING. You will make any existing tangles much worse if you get them wet! 

4) WASH MAX. TWICE A WEEK. You don't need to wash more than that! You're likely creating your own problems by over washing.

5) USE THE PROPER BRUSH. Choose the most gentle tool for brushing, especially when wet!

6) CLARIFY YOUR EXTENSIONS. Use this when your extensions feel heavy, and waxy. They will be immediately revived.

7) HEAT PROTECTOR. Don't do unnecessary damage by not sealing your cuticle! It's like leaving all the doors and windows open to your house. It lets the bad guys in and they smash everything and steal all the good stuff!

8) OIL IS A FINISHING PRODUCT ONLY. Don't fry your ends. sizzle

9) SALON QUALITY PRODUCT ONLY. You get what you pay for! Protect your investment.

10) GET A TIGHTENING WHEN YOU NEED ONE. I can only help you if you come to see me! Let's make sure that weave's tight, let's make sure there's no friction creating matting, and let's make sure that what we're doing is working for you!

Clarifying Shampoo: Moroccan Oil Clarifying Shampoo, Schwarzkopf Deep Cleansing

Regular Shampoo & Conditioner: Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure Color Freeze, or, Repair Rescue (same line.) Joico K-Pak Color Therapy, and Cat Walk HeadShot.

Brush: Wet Brush, Loop Brush

Satin Cap & Pillow Case: Any brand, just make sure to get a fabric band instead of an elastic. Much more comfortable! Can be found at beauty supply like Sally's or Hair Sense (In Calgary atleast)

My lashes are House of Lashes Iconics, cut in half and worn in outer corner. 

Highlight is Mac's "Moonlight Dusk" which I believe is discontinued!
