In this episode of Kingdom BS (Kingdom Business Society) with Steve Holmstrom, we break down a prosperity-style “seed faith” message that turns Christian giving into a mechanism for personal gain.

Holmstrom openly teaches that once you’re “grounded in the Word,” God can speak through cloud formations, rainbows, numbers, license plates, stray cats, and even an “oddly timed fortune cookie.” He claims people who are not grounded “can’t be trusted with rainbows and stray cats,” but once you are grounded, God can “give you a number or a license plate and speak to you in many ways.”

Then the message gets even more extreme.

He tells a story about a man giving $10,000, and when the man says he does not give expecting anything in return, Holmstrom calls it “dumb” and pushes the idea that believers must “name your seed,” give “on purpose,” and expect a specific harvest. He compares giving to farming and insists that if you need money, you must sow money to reap money. He even describes praying for a man to receive a wife as part of the “harvest” connected to his giving, and claims, “watch, soon I’ll be sharing a testimony of this guy and his new bride.”

This is classic manipulation dressed up as “kingdom keys.” It shifts Christian generosity away from worship and obedience, and into a transactional system that pressures believers to attach outcomes to money.
